HR Analytics Lead

We’re supporting a well-established organisation in the search for a People Insights & Analytics Lead to join its People Systems and Data team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex people data into clear, meaningful insight that influences business decisions. You’ll lead the people analytics agenda, own the MI and reporting calendar, and work closely with senior stakeholders to turn data into actionable recommendations.
You’ll also have people leadership responsibility within the People Insights & Analytics function, supporting colleagues with priorities, development and quality of delivery.
What you'll be doing
Lead the people insights and analytics agenda across the business
Own the MI calendar, reporting narrative, metrics and data definitions
Produce complex reports, dashboards and insight packs across areas including headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment, DEI and workforce planning
Analyse trends, risks and opportunities and turn findings into clear recommendations
Partner with senior stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making
Use Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools to bring people data to life
Support and upskill stakeholders in using people data and dashboards effectively
Lead approved predictive analytics and AI-enabled pilots to improve reporting and workforce insight
Champion data quality, governance and continuous improvement
About you
You’ll bring strong experience working with people data, HR systems and complex reporting, alongside confident Power BI and Excel skills.
You’ll be comfortable translating data into a clear narrative for non-technical audiences and engaging with senior stakeholders to influence decisions.
Experience supporting, coaching or supervising colleagues is also important, alongside excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in using data, analytics and technology to improve how organisations make people decisions.
