We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established, internationally recognised manufacturing business based in Cheshire.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, working with people at all levels and having a genuine impact on how HR is delivered.
The business is going through an exciting period of growth and development, and the People function is evolving alongside it. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you'll have the opportunity to help shape and modernise HR policies, processes and ways of working. The opportunity This is far more than a traditional HR administration role. You'll be a key point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical advice across the full employee lifecycle while also helping to improve how the People function operates.
Providing HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
Supporting recruitment, selection and onboarding
Advising on employee relations, attendance and organisational change
Drafting contracts, offer letters and contractual amendments
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Reviewing, updating and improving HR policies and processes
Bringing structure and consistency to existing HR information and processes
Supporting learning and development initiatives, including management training, PDPs and objectives
Using data and Excel to produce meaningful reports for senior stakeholders
Working with stakeholders across both operational and corporate functions
About you You'll be an experienced HR Advisor with a generalist background and a genuine interest in making a difference.
Has solid HR advisory experience and ideally holds CIPD Level 5, or is willing to work towards it
Is confident providing practical, commercially focused advice
Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Has a continuous improvement mindset and can demonstrate where you've improved processes or ways of working
Is confident with Microsoft 365, Excel and learning new systems and technology
Can use data to provide meaningful insight to senior stakeholders
Is comfortable working in ambiguous situations and using their own judgement
Is willing to challenge traditional approaches to HR and look beyond simply following "best practice"
Is approachable, reliable and committed to delivering an excellent service
Doesn't necessarily have manufacturing experience, but is curious and willing to understand the operational environment
You'll be comfortable working on site at least three days a week, with flexible working hours between 7am and 7pm. What's on offer?
