HR advisor / Junior BP

As an HR Advisor / Junior BP in Leeds within the transport and distribution industry, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations and ensuring the smooth running of people-related processes. This role is with a company based in the transport and distribution industry in Leeds.

Description

Provide generalist HR support, offering guidance on policies and procedures.

Assist with employee relations matters, including handling queries and supporting investigations.

Coordinate recruitment activities, from job advertising to onboarding new hires.

Support managers with performance management processes and documentation.

Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment law.

Collaborate with stakeholders to address workforce planning and development needs.

Provide support for learning and development activities across the organisation.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor / Junior BP should have

A background in HR, with a good understanding of HR principles and practices.

Experience in providing advice on employee relations and HR policies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Knowledge of employment law and best practices in HR.

Job Offer

A salary of £35,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.

A permanent role within the transport and distribution industry.
