HR Advisor

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to further develop their generalist HR career within a busy and fast-paced environment in a Leeds head office business, going through rapid growth. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical and commercially focused HR advice across the full employee life cycle. A significant part of the role will involve managing a varied employee relations caseload, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters.

You will work closely with colleagues across HR to ensure processes and documentation are completed accurately, support recruitment and onboarding activities, contribute to policy development and provide guidance to managers on employment-related matters. The role will also play a key part in analysing people's data, identifying trends and supporting a range of HR projects focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, retention and process improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have

CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be actively working towards it).

At least three years' generalist HR experience within a fast-moving organisation.

Practical experience managing employee relations cases and advising managers on HR policies and procedures.

A good understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to provide clear and constructive advice.

Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.

A proactive and collaborative approach with a desire to continuously learn and develop.

Experience within manufacturing, medical device, engineering or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
