We are recruiting for a HR Administrator to join the National CT Policing network to provide high-quality operational support to the delivery of Career Transition Service and redeployment activity resulting from organisational change, Health Related Capability and or Secondee returners. The role focuses on supporting redeployees and stakeholders, maintaining accurate data and reporting, and contributing to consistent, effective redeployment outcomes across the organisation.
Key Details
Location: Kilburn / New Scotland Yard (main HR hub is Kilburn)
Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH (in line with business needs and policy)
Hours: 36 per week
Contract duration: 3 months
Rate: £19.49 per hour (PAYE)
Key Responsibilities
1. Redeployment Delivery and Case Support
Provide professional, timely, and accurate advice to employees affected by organisational change and placed on redeployment.
Act as a first point of contact for redeployees and line managers, responding to queries with solutions-focused, consistent, and policy-aligned advice.
Actively support the objective of maximising successful redeployment outcomes through proactive engagement and effective case handling.
Manage sensitive and complex cases with discretion, professionalism, and empathy, recognising the personal impact of change.
Reinforce redeployment as the primary route for filling vacancies, supporting wider workforce planning and organisational priorities.
2. Redeployment Data, Performance and Reporting
Support the maintenance of accurate, timely, and well-recorded redeployment data.
Assist in compiling redeployment performance information, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability of figures.
Carry out routine data quality checks to support assurance, informed decision-making, and performance reporting.

Redeployment outcomes and emerging trends
3. Policy, Process and Continuous Improvement
Apply working knowledge of Career Transition Service (CTS) and redeployment policies when supporting employees and managers.
Assist with documenting and maintaining clear process maps for redeployment and associated activities, improving consistency, accessibility, and operational resilience.
Identify, suggest, and escalate opportunities to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and clarify guidance based on operational delivery and stakeholder feedback.
Support updates to guidance materials, knowledge resources, and FAQs to ensure advice remains clear, accurate, and consistent.
Skills and Experience Essential
Experience supporting an HR function in an administrative capacity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly and sensitively.
Confidence working with data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting activity.
