Job Description

Are you a commercially-minded Paid Media leader who loves scaling brands, mentoring teams, and building smart acquisition strategies? Do you want to work for a purpose-driven business that’s trying to make a genuine difference to the planet?

We’re partnering with an incredibly innovative ecommerce business to find a Head of Paid Media for a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is a rare opportunity to lead paid media for a brand with a genuinely meaningful mission, an international customer base, and partnerships with a host of iconic global brands.

The business operates with the pace and variety of an agency, making this a brilliant opportunity for someone from either an agency or in-house background. If you're from an agency background, looking to transition in-house, this could be your golden ticket - a chance to open doors with an in-house brand that really values agency experience. The Role As Head of Paid Media, you’ll lead the paid acquisition strategy across multiple brands, products and markets, managing significant media budgets and driving profitable growth at scale.

This is a highly commercial leadership role where you’ll own paid media end-to-end — from strategic planning and forecasting through to channel optimisation, attribution, reporting and international expansion. You’ll oversee activity across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Microsoft and Pinterest, ensuring campaigns are efficient, scalable and aligned to wider business objectives.

You’ll lead and mentor a talented and established paid media team, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration and continuous learning. Alongside team leadership, you’ll work closely with creative, CRM, content and development teams to ensure campaigns are integrated and commercially effective.

The business is also investing heavily in AI and emerging technologies, so there’s huge opportunity for someone excited by innovation and the future of paid media to make a genuine impact.

This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing strategic leadership with commercial decision-making and still likes staying close enough to performance to challenge thinking and drive best practice. Skills and Experience We’re looking for someone who:

Has significant experience leading paid media strategy across both Paid Search and Paid Social

Has experience managing and mentoring high-performing paid media teams

Has managed large-scale, multi-channel paid media budgets

Understands how paid media contributes to wider ecommerce and commercial growth

Is commercially strong, analytical and confident working with forecasting and attribution

Has experience scaling brands internationally or across multiple markets

Enjoys working cross-functionally with creative, CRM, dev and content teams

Has an interest in AI and emerging technologies within paid media

Could come from either an agency or in-house environment

Benefits You’ll be joining a hugely successful, purpose-driven business entering an exciting new phase of growth. The culture is creative, collaborative and genuinely supportive, with a close-knit team of smart people doing meaningful work.

This is an opportunity to lead a talented team, shape international growth strategy, and work with a business that partners with incredible brands while trying to build a better future through sustainable commerce.

The role offers hybrid working, strong flexibility, and the chance to make a visible impact in a business that’s continuing to evolve rapidly. Sound Good? If you’re a Paid Media leader who wants to combine commercial growth, team leadership and purpose-driven work in a genuinely exciting business? Don't wait!? Apply now.
