Shape the future of technology, digital innovation and business transformation across a supply chains solutions organisation. As our Head of Digital, you will lead the development and delivery of our digital strategy, ensuring technology, data and systems drive measurable improvements in performance, efficiency and customer experience. From ERP and business systems to Power Platform, automation, AI and data analytics, you will play a pivotal role in modernising the organisation and unlocking new opportunities for growth.
Working closely with colleagues across multiple sites, you'll be a visible and influential leader who understands business challenges, identifies innovative solutions and ensures our digital investments deliver real value. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker to champion the safe and responsible adoption of AI while building a digitally enabled future for the business.
Please note: This is a hybrid role based from one of our sites in Cradley Heath, Birmingham, with regular travel to our locations across the UK, typically 2-3 days per week. We are looking for a visible and engaging leader who enjoys building relationships across the business, working closely with teams on-site to understand challenges, identify opportunities and drive meaningful digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver the company's digital strategy, technology roadmap and transformation agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Partner with senior leaders across the business to identify opportunities and deliver technology, ERP, data, automation and AI-enabled solutions that drive performance and efficiency.
Lead and continually improve IT, ERP and Digital Solutions, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, resilient and fit for purpose.
Drive innovation through data, analytics, automation and AI, while ensuring strong governance, cybersecurity, risk management and responsible AI adoption.
Lead strategic digital transformation programmes, embedding effective project governance, change management and business adoption.
Manage key technology partners, digital investments and budgets, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value and ROI.
Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing Digital team, ensuring resources are focused on the organisation's highest priorities.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential Skills and Experience
Senior leadership experience across IT, ERP, Digital or Technology functions.
Proven success delivering digital transformation and business change.
Strong project, programme and change management expertise.
Experience managing ERP and business-critical systems.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams within a multi-site environment.
Understanding of AI governance, cybersecurity, data and technology risk management.
Strong commercial, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to develop strategy and translate business needs into practical delivery plans.
Valid UK driving license
