Group Marketing Manager
Location: Birchwood, Warrington
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Working pattern: Office five days per week
Reporting to: Group CEO The opportunity We're looking for an experienced Group Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing across a growing portfolio of property services and technology brands.
This is a high-impact role with direct access to the Group CEO and the opportunity to shape how we approach marketing across the business.
You'll take the group's commercial objectives and turn them into clear marketing priorities, campaigns and measurable results – bringing greater structure, pace and commercial focus to the function.
You'll manage an existing Campaign Manager as well as our external marketing agency and specialist partners.
We're looking for someone who enjoys both strategy and delivery. You'll have the autonomy to set direction and challenge how things are currently done, but you'll also be comfortable getting involved and making things happen. What you'll be doing You'll take day-to-day ownership of group marketing, including:
Developing and delivering annual and quarterly marketing plans across multiple brands
Turning commercial objectives into campaigns that generate qualified leads, pipeline and revenue
Managing customer acquisition across digital, email, content, organic, partner and event channels
Improving website journeys, conversion rates and digital performance
Developing CRM, nurture and lifecycle marketing activity
Supporting product launches, new propositions and website development
Driving product adoption, cross-selling, upselling and customer reactivation
Maintaining strong and consistent brand positioning across websites, campaigns and communications
Managing and developing our Campaign Manager
Directing our external marketing agency and specialist suppliers
Setting clear briefs, priorities, budgets, deadlines and performance measures
Working closely with sales, product, operations and compliance
Using customer, sales and campaign data to identify opportunities and improve performance
Measuring marketing against leads, pipeline, conversion, acquisition cost, engagement and revenue
Identifying underperforming activity and making confident decisions about where investment should be increased, changed or stopped
AI will be an important part of the role We want someone who is already using AI as a practical marketing tool, rather than simply experimenting with it.
You'll be expected to apply tools such as Claude and other AI platforms across areas including research, content, campaign development, personalisation, analysis, automation and reporting.
We're particularly interested in hearing real examples of how you've used AI to save time, improve marketing output or generate better commercial results. What we're looking for You'll ideally have 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, including experience in a broad marketing management role.
More importantly, you'll be able to demonstrate where your work has produced measurable commercial results.
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue
Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
Strong knowledge of lead generation and digital acquisition
Experience with CRM, nurture and lifecycle marketing
A good understanding of brand and positioning
Confidence using marketing and customer data to make decisions
Experience managing people, agencies and external partners
The ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns and priorities simultaneously
Practical experience using modern AI tools within marketing
A proactive approach and willingness to challenge activity that isn't delivering results
Experience within B2B technology, SaaS, property, financial services or professional services would be particularly valuable. The kind of person who'll succeed here You'll be commercially minded, organised and comfortable taking ownership.
You'll enjoy working at pace and won't need to wait for someone else to tell you what needs doing. You'll be equally comfortable discussing commercial priorities with the CEO, briefing an agency, reviewing campaign performance or working with the team to get a campaign live.
You'll also be prepared to question weak ideas, challenge assumptions and stop activity when the numbers don't justify the investment.
This isn't a role for someone looking to sit purely at strategy level. We want someone who can think, lead and deliver. Location Our head office is in Birchwood, Warrington, and being part of the team in person is important to us.
This is not a fully remote or fractional position, so you'll need to live locally or within a realistic daily commuting distance of Birchwood and be comfortable with an office/hybrid working pattern. Interested? If you're an experienced marketing manager looking for greater ownership, direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a measurable commercial impact across several growing brands, we'd like to hear from you.
