Group Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Interim - 4 Months | Liverpool | £225-£275/day (PAYE)

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next interim opportunity? We're working with a business based in Liverpool to find a capable finance professional for a 4 month engagement with an immediate start.

The Role

This is a hands-on group management accounting position sitting within a busy finance function. You'll be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial information to support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts

• Budget vs actual variance analysis with clear commentary

• Balance sheet reconciliations and ownership of month-end close

• Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes

• Liaising with budget holders across the business

• Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required

What We're Looking For

• Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) through to fully qualified

• Proven experience in a management accounting role OR in a hands-on practice environment

• Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems

• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

• Immediately available
