About the role

Adyen is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our Group Finance team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to challenge the status quo, who gets truly excited to re-imagine processes from the ground up.

In this role, you will partner, validate and drive financial excellence across our global footprint. Rather than focusing on routine data production, you will have the mandate to redesign leverage automation and modern tooling to enable a continuous and low-touch close while maintaining a control environment.

At Adyen we like to build things ourselves - in this team you will play a key role in applying out-of-the box solutions to improve control and streamline ways of working.

What you’ll do

Partner with FinOps and Financial Data Teams (FDT) to optimize core accounting processes, leveraging automation tools (such as Workday Accounting Center and Workiva) to drive a low-touch, continuous close;

Partner with Tax and FinOps teams to maintain a scalable intercompany framework and review reconciliations;

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Group External Auditors. Lead audit readiness, manage group audit deliverables, and take a leading role in our audit firm rotation;
