Group Finance Analyst

Huddersfield Up to £45,000 Permanent

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a growing business in Huddersfield to recruit a Group Finance Analyst.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with data, analysing numbers and turning financial information into useful insight for the wider business.

The role will include

Producing sales, margin and profitability reporting across a large client base.

Analysing performance across different products, sites and business areas, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.

Supporting budgeting and forecasting, including challenging assumptions and investigating variances.

Producing client and product profitability analysis to support commercial decision-making.

Maintaining and developing Power BI dashboards and recurring reports.

Working with large datasets using advanced Excel and multiple finance systems.

Preparing month-end accruals and supporting robust financial controls and reconciliations.

Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation, better systems and AI tools.

Presenting clear financial analysis to both Finance and non-finance stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with strong Excel skills and previous experience in commercial finance, FP&A, finance analysis or a data-focused finance role. You will need a good understanding of sales, margin and profitability, alongside experience with Power BI and financial reporting.

A finance or analytical qualification, or part-qualification, would be beneficial but is not essential.
