Group Accountant

A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, international services business as a Group Accountant, based in Droitwich. Main Duties

As a Group Accountant, your main duties include

Consolidating financial results from UK and overseas divisions into the group’s accounts

Preparing monthly and statutory reporting for a range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and banking contacts

Partnering closely with Finance Directors and finance teams across the wider international group

Delivering insight and analysis to the Board to support major commercial and strategic decisions, including M&A and funding activity

Helping to develop and improve group reporting systems in collaboration with external IT providers

Liaising with external advisors on wider financial reporting projects

Supporting newly acquired businesses as they integrate into group finance processes

Taking ownership of head office accounts

Based in Droitwich, this role sits within a close-knit finance team of around ten, right at the heart of the group’s head office. The business is entrepreneurial and growing at pace, offering flexible working, a genuinely supportive team, and plenty of variety and exposure to senior stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have

ACA/ACCA qualified – essential

Technical knowledge of accounting frameworks such as IFRS and FRS – essential

A background in either practice or industry – candidates moving from practice for the first time are welcome to apply

Experience with statutory accounts and consolidation is desirable but not essential

A pragmatic, team-focused approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting the wider team’s goals
