Group Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a high-growth technology organisation that is going through a period of growth.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate group reporting, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic business. Key Responsibilities

Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and group financial reports.

Support the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.

Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.

Lead balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.

Partner with finance teams across the business to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to finance transformation projects.

Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic finance projects as the business continues to expand.

About You

ACA/CA Qualified (ideally audit background)

Experience in a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Audit role within a large or fast-growing organisation.

Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday is advantageous.

Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.

Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.

A proactive, adaptable approach with a desire to improve processes and add value.
