Graduate Civil Engineer

Graduate Civil Engineer | Construction | Glasgow

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing construction team based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across a variety of civil engineering projects while working alongside experienced professionals.

You will support the delivery of projects from design through to completion, developing your technical, commercial, and practical skills within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects

Support senior engineers with technical drawings, calculations, and reports

Attend site visits to monitor progress and ensure works are carried out to specification

Assist with site inspections, surveys, and data collection

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)

Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software

Placement year or internship experience within construction or engineering

Understanding of UK construction standards and regulations (e.g., CDM)
