As a Geographic Information System Analyst at Hyde, you will develop, maintain and apply spatial data, mapping and analytical solutions that support effective decision-making across the organisation. You will combine spatial and non-spatial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, producing clear insight, dashboards and visual outputs that support service delivery, asset management, investment planning and operational performance.
Key Duties
Deliver high-quality spatial analysis and geographic insight to support business planning, operational activity and strategic decision-making.
Analyse geographic patterns and trends, including service demand, deprivation, stock performance and risk, to inform priorities and improve customer outcomes.
Develop, maintain and enhance spatial datasets, mapping layers, GIS models, dashboards and reporting outputs.
Use tools such as ArcGIS, Power BI, SQL and similar platforms to extract, manipulate, analyse and present data effectively.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, translating technical spatial concepts into clear, practical recommendations for non-technical audiences.

Proven experience in GIS, geospatial or spatial analysis roles, delivering accurate mapping, analysis and insight.
Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain spatial analysis clearly.
Strong technical skills in analytics tools such as Power BI, AWS Analytical Services, Snowflake, Sigma, SQL or similar.
A proactive mindset and passion for using location-based intelligence to improve services and customer outcomes.
The ability to develop spatial datasets, models, dashboards and visual outputs using tools such as ArcGIS, Power BI and SQL.
