Freelance Marketing Manager Manchester (3 days in office) 6–9 Month Contract ASAP Start

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Marketing Manager to join a fast-paced B2B business on an initial 6–9 month contract.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning marketing operations, managing launches and driving commercial performance in a busy environment.

You’ll work closely with leadership, agencies and internal teams to ensure marketing activity runs smoothly, campaigns are delivered effectively and performance is clearly measured.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day marketing operations and campaign delivery

Manage agency relationships and hold partners accountable for performance

Coordinate launches, timelines and communications across teams

Own reporting and performance analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement

Manage marketing budgets and track spend effectively

Support customer and brand experience across communications and channels

Provide stability and direction to the wider marketing team

Requirements

Proven B2B experience managing marketing operations in a fast-paced business

Strong commercial awareness and performance mindset

Experience managing agencies and external partners

Confident analysing data and turning insights into actions

Highly organised with strong stakeholder management skills

Comfortable working autonomously and adapting in a changing environment

5 days per week

Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the Manchester office
