Our Client
Mackie Myers have partnered with a well established professional membership organisation to appoint an FP&A Analyst into their collaborative and evolving finance team based in London.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose driven organisation during a period of continued development, supporting high quality financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the business.
The Role
The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s financial planning and analysis activities, helping deliver timely and accurate management information to support strategic decision-making.
Working closely with the FP&A Manager and Senior FP&A Analyst, this role combines financial analysis, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and systems improvement responsibilities. The successful candidate will support reporting cycles, maintain financial models and dashboards, and contribute towards automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Duties
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
Produce and maintain management reports, dashboards, and variance analysis
Support month end and period end close activities across the finance function
Cleanse, validate, and reconcile financial data across multiple systems
Partner with budget holders and business leads to capture accurate income and cost information
Contribute to scenario planning, ad hoc analysis, and strategic finance projects
Identify and implement process automation and reporting improvement opportunities
Support audit preparation and ensure accurate financial controls and reporting
Present financial insights and recommendations to finance and non finance stakeholders
The Candidate
Part qualified or actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent
Previous experience within FP&A, management accounting, or financial analysis
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
Experience working with financial systems and planning tools such as Prophix, Adaptive, Anaplan, or TM1 advantageous
What’s on Offer?
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum
