FP&A Analyst, PE Backed Infrastructure, London, c£70k + bonus
A newly created opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Analyst to join a high-growth, acquisitive business at an exciting stage of its journey. This is a highly analytical role, offering the chance to influence strategic decision-making by delivering meaningful financial insight, robust modelling and commercial analysis to senior stakeholders.
You'll work closely with the wider finance team and business leaders, helping to turn complex data into clear recommendations that drive performance. This role would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, challenging assumptions and looking beyond the numbers to understand the story behind the data.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
Produce detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities across the business.
Support the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
Deliver insightful reporting and performance analysis for senior leadership.
Analyse business performance, investigating variances and providing actionable recommendations.
Work with stakeholders across the business to understand key performance drivers and support decision-making.
Continuously improve financial models, reporting tools and planning processes.
Support ad hoc commercial projects, business cases and investment analysis as the business continues to grow.
About You
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build and manipulate complex financial models. You're someone who genuinely enjoys working with spreadsheets.
Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
Naturally inquisitive, always looking beyond the headline numbers to understand the underlying drivers.
Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge assumptions using data.
Able to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Experience within FP&A, commercial finance or financial analysis.
