Are you an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant looking for a hybrid fp&a commercial analyst?
We are seeking a commercially minded and qualified finance professional to support financial performance, revenue and cost management across the business. This role will play a key part in both retrospective performance analysis and forward-looking forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with the Head of Finance and operational stakeholders, you will provide meaningful financial insight that drives performance improvement and supports business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts in line with Group reporting requirements.
Analyse business performance and identify key drivers impacting financial and operational results.
Partner with business leaders and operational teams to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
Produce and monitor financial and non-financial KPI reporting for key stakeholders across the organisation.
Support the month-end and period-end close process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
Deliver insightful analysis to ensure senior management and the Board have a clear understanding of financial and operational performance.
Utilise existing systems and reporting tools to enhance data analytics capabilities and improve management information.
Develop and expand performance reporting frameworks to support informed decision-making.
Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Proven ability to interpret financial and operational data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines.
Experience producing KPI reporting and performance analysis.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
