Senior Accountant / Forensic Advisory Consultant
London | Competitive Salary + Bonus | Fast-Track Career Progression | International Exposure
Robert Half is partnering exclusively with a market-leading specialist advisory firm to appoint an exceptional newly qualified ACA into a highly sought-after opportunity within its growing London team.
This is not a traditional accounting role.
The successful candidate will join a specialist advisory business operating at the intersection of finance, investigations, insurance, disputes and professional services, working on complex, high-profile assignments involving financial loss, fraud, cyber incidents, professional negligence matters and commercial disputes.
Offering exposure typically unavailable within industry or mainstream practice, this role provides a genuine opportunity to accelerate your career, develop specialist expertise and work directly alongside senior accountants, lawyers and industry experts on intellectually challenging projects.
The Opportunity
You will be involved in the investigation, analysis and resolution of complex financial matters, taking ownership of assignments from an early stage while working closely with senior stakeholders and clients across the UK and internationally.
The role combines commercial problem-solving, financial analysis, report writing and client interaction, making it ideal for an ambitious accountant looking to move beyond statutory audit into a more varied and rewarding environment.

Review financial records, accounting evidence and supporting documentation.
Quantify losses and prepare detailed financial analyses.

Develop technical expertise within a highly specialised area of advisory and consulting.

Strong academic record, including a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group, Redbrick or similarly regarded university.
Degree subject demonstrating strong written communication and analytical ability, such as:

International Relations
Trained within a Top 20 accountancy practice, leading mid-tier firm, National Audit Office or similar environment.
Background in Audit, Forensic Advisory, Investigations or Financial Due Diligence.
Exceptional report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly and concisely.
Polished, articulate and professional with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Naturally inquisitive, commercially minded and able to think critically when solving complex problems.
Ambitious and looking to build a long-term career within a highly specialist advisory environment.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Rare opportunity to move into a highly niche and intellectually stimulating area of advisory.
Work on complex investigations, financial disputes, professional negligence and commercial claims.
Exposure to international assignments and global stakeholders.
Significant responsibility and client interaction from day one.
Opportunity to work alongside leading accountants, lawyers and industry specialists.
Fast-track progression within a high-growth and meritocratic business.
Competitive salary, bonus and long-term earning potential.
Clear route towards becoming a recognised specialist within your field.
This role will suit a high-calibre ACA who has excelled academically and professionally, enjoys solving complex problems and possesses the communication skills and commercial mindset to thrive in a specialist advisory environment. For individuals looking to step away from traditional audit while retaining the technical challenge and intellectual rigour of professional services, opportunities of this nature are exceptionally rare.
