Are you looking to build your career in risk and compliance within a regulated financial services environment? We’re looking for a Financial Services Analyst to join our client's growing team, supporting their Group Risk & Compliance function across multiple jurisdictions.
Location: London (Fully Remote)
About the Role
As an FS Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping the Group meet its regulatory obligations under Gibraltar and Malta frameworks. You’ll gain exposure across all areas of the business, contributing to risk management, governance, and compliance processes while working closely with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Management
Support the ongoing development and enhancement of the Group risk management framework
Maintain and update Risk Registers across the Group
Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and produce risk dashboards
Assist with scenario analysis, stress testing, and emerging risk assessments
Promote a strong risk-aware culture through training and engagement
Risk Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely risk reports for management and regulators
Support the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process
Provide clear risk insights to support senior decision-making
Compliance & Regulatory Support
Assist with implementation of GFSC and MFSA regulatory requirements
Support Board and committee reporting
Contribute to compliance monitoring activities, including reviews and testing
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Worked within the Financial Services sector (bank, insurance, pensions etc.)
Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement
High attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex information
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Desirable
Degree or professional certifications (e.g. IRM, CRM, Risk/Compliance)
1+ years’ experience in risk and/or compliance within financial services
Understanding of risk frameworks, internal controls, and multi-jurisdiction regulation
Experience with risk registers, KRIs, or risk systems (e.g. SWORD)
