Your new company An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of financial, statutory and management reporting. The role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain a robust control environment, support audit activities and drive continuous improvements across reporting processes. Your new role
Lead, develop and mentor a small Financial Reporting team.
Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting packs.
Coordinate the production of statutory accounts in line with IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
Ensure balance sheet integrity through review of reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
Act as the key contact for external and internal auditors.
Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to support senior management decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies.
Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience.
Previous experience managing month-end and year-end reporting cycles.
Experience leading or supervising a small finance team.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting systems.
Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
