MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Data Services Analyst for a leading financial services business. This pivotal role involves applying quantitative techniques to support the development of Fraud & Financial Crime controls. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience with complex data sets.
Location: West Yorkshire - Hybrid working available
The Role
The Financial Crime Data Services Analyst position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's analytical capabilities. This role involves producing statistical analysis, modelling, and predictive analytics to support the definition and development of financial crime controls and solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Crime Data Services Analyst
Conduct complex data analysis and modelling to optimise financial crime solutions
Identify and communicate data-driven insights to inform business changes and risk mitigation
Support the development of financial crime systems and controls
Produce statistical analysis and predictive analytics
Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
Required knowledge and experience for the Financial Crime Data Services Analyst role:
Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, or R for handling complex data sets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in quantitative analytics and model deployment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of financial services industry (desirable)
