Job Description

An innovative and highly regarded organisation is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its established finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual who enjoys working with data, delivering insight, and partnering with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. This role will play a key part in financial planning and analysis, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across the organisation. Working closely with senior finance colleagues, you will contribute to providing clear, actionable financial insight to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives

Produce monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and insightful commentary for stakeholders

Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying key trends and drivers to inform decision-making

Business partner with internal teams, providing financial guidance and challenge to support performance improvement

Assist in the preparation of management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, including growth opportunities

Evaluate cost efficiencies and profitability, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Support the development of financial processes, systems and controls to enhance reporting accuracy

Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders as required

Assist with wider finance duties including cash flow forecasting, audits and reporting cycles

Key Requirements

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)

Proven experience within financial analysis, management accounting or a similar role
