Financial Analyst

Our client, a well-established organisation operating within a complex, multi-entity environment, is looking to appoint a Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to work across forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis in a fast-paced and collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Analyst

Build, update and maintain multiple operational and financial models to support planning and decision-making.

Review model outputs and perform variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and clarity of financial information.

Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycles across the wider organisation.

Prepare structured reporting and meaningful commentary for senior stakeholders.

Contribute to longer-term cashflow analysis, scenario modelling and strategic reviews.

Respond to complex financial queries, identifying risks, opportunities and anomalies within data sets.

Support continuous improvement of financial tools, templates and processes.

Key essentials of the Financial Analyst

Strong financial modelling experience.

Advanced Excel skills.

Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
