Senior Financial Accountant Hybrid Working | Permanent | ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
An established and growing UK business is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is a broad and highly visible role, combining technical accounting, statutory reporting, audit management, treasury oversight and team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of consolidated group accounts and statutory financial statements.
Manage the year-end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
Oversee tax, VAT and statutory compliance reporting.
Deliver cash flow, treasury and working capital analysis.
Provide technical accounting expertise across UK GAAP and IFRS matters.
Support acquisition accounting and wider finance projects.
Lead and develop a small finance team while driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls.
About You
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
Experience managing audits and statutory reporting processes.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.
