Financial Accountant (12-Month FTC)

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical accounting background who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while supporting business growth and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare month-end financial close processes, including technical accounts and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and perform quality assurance of bordereaux.

Support the expansion of European entities, helping establish and improve finance processes as the business grows.

Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate existing finance processes and reporting.

Provide support across the finance function and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in Insurance

Part Qualified or time served

Strong technical accounting background with experience in technical accounting and/or credit control.

Experience preparing month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.

Knowledge of bordereaux preparation and technical finance processes is highly desirable.

Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data.
