Description

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes effectively.

Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and reporting requirements.

Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets.

Support the implementation of process improvements in the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have

A professional accounting qualification or equivalent academic background.

Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.

Proficiency in financial systems and Excel for analysis and reporting.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Experience in the transport and distribution industry is desirable but not essential.
