Financial Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to contribute to the success of an industrial/manufacturing company. The role is based in Bradford and involves managing financial processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Description

Prepare financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Ensure accuracy and timely completion of month-end and year-end processes.

Supporting local and international commercial finance team

Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Assist with tax compliance and reporting requirements.

Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial processes.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have

A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

Experience in financial reporting and compliance within the industrial/manufacturing sector or from an audit/accounts prep background

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

A detail-oriented approach with excellent organisational skills.
