Financial Accountant

This temporary Financial Accountant role in Rochdale requires expertise in accounting and finance ideally within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements.

Description

The Financial Accountant role will initially be a temporary assignment with the option to extend and will be 100% office based in Rochdale. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key duties will include:

Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulations.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.

Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.

Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should

Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience

Have experience in Balance sheet reconciliation and a strong understanding of debits and credits

Any manufacturing experience preferable, however not essential

Have experience in Financial Accounting

Be able to commute 5 days per week to Rochdale site

Be able to consider a temporary role initially
