Finance Regulatory Manager

Reed Finance is recruiting for a growing organisation seeking a Finance Regulatory Manager to take ownership of regulatory reporting, strengthen financial controls and support wider finance activities. This is a 6 month temporary position.

This is a hands-on role combining technical regulatory expertise with management accounting, process improvement and stakeholder engagement. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, enhancing controls and developing best practice across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and oversee UK regulatory returns including MiFID, RMAR, FSA029 and FSA030 submissions.

Ensure regulatory reporting is accurate, controlled, fully evidenced and submitted on time.

Review and improve reporting models, spreadsheets and control frameworks.

Reconcile regulatory returns to underlying financial data and investigate discrepancies.

Support ICARA reporting, capital and liquidity monitoring where required.

Assist with monthly management accounts, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.

Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting.

Work closely with Finance, Risk and Compliance teams to resolve reporting issues and enhance controls.

What You'll Need

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Proven experience preparing UK financial services regulatory returns.

Strong management accounting and financial control experience.

Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and spreadsheet review.

Ideally experience within financial services
