Finance Project Manager

Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Finance Project Manager to work with a leading business based in Solihull.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of finance transformation projects, managing project plans, timelines, budgets, resources and interdependencies.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, IT, Operations and senior leadership to ensure stakeholder alignment and successful project delivery.
• Manage project governance, producing status reports, steering committee packs and maintaining RAID logs to effectively manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop and deliver communication and change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new finance processes and systems.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery while tracking the realisation of financial and operational benefits.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across finance processes, controls and systems to drive greater efficiency and business performance.

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering business transformation, finance change or continuous improvement projects.
• APM or PRINCE2 qualified, with strong project management and governance experience.
• Good understanding of change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Lean or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of core finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Experience working with finance systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, OneStream or similar ERP platforms.
• Proficient in project management and reporting tools such as Monday.com, MS Project, Power BI, Jira or Smartsheet.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify opportunities and measure project benefits.
• Experience delivering change programmes within complex, multi-site organisations.
