Lead and develop a team responsible for accounting and financial control across multiple property entities and head office management company.
Own the month-end close process, reviewing outputs and preparing monthly consolidation to ensure accurate reporting delivered on schedule.
Review management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to communicate key movements, risks, and performance drivers clearly.
Prepare statutory accounts and manage external audit processes for relevant entities with meticulous attention to detail.
Oversee tax compliance matters including VAT and corporation tax returns by collaborating with internal and external specialists.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity closely with FP&A teams to forecast needs and recommend placement of surplus funds appropriately.
Manage debt monitoring, compliance requirements, and related reporting obligations efficiently.
Act as a finance business partner to Operations, Cost Centre owners, and other departments by providing timely financial insight and constructive support for operational decisions.
Enhance cost centre reporting by delivering clear analysis of actual performance versus budgets or forecasts while supporting follow-up actions.
Work alongside FP&A on transfer pricing activities including methodology development, implementation, review, calculations, and documentation.
Qualified accountant status with substantial post-qualification experience at manager level.
Experience gained within real estate or similarly complex environments highly desirable.
Experience working in organisations characterised by complexity where high-quality outputs must be delivered against fixed deadlines.
Proven track record in external reporting including statutory accounts preparation and consolidation processes.
Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards coupled with ability to apply technical accounting requirements practically within business contexts.
Demonstrated experience in financial control including effective month-end procedures and balance sheet reviews.
Ability to partner constructively with non-finance stakeholders translating financial data into clear actionable business insights.
Skill in balancing technical accounting demands with commercial priorities across operational areas.
Experience developing coaching mentoring direct reports fostering accountability strong controls continuous improvement culture.
Exceptional written verbal communication skills combined with attention to detail explaining complex information concisely clearly.
Strong interpersonal abilities enabling rapid establishment of positive relationships confidence in constructive questioning challenging outcomes.
