Finance Manager (Transactions)

The Role

This Finance Manager position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of transactional finance operations and supporting financial control:

Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash management, and credit card processes

Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing aligned with financial controls

Support month-end close and reporting activities

Work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team

Lead and develop a small transactional finance team

Main Duties You will be responsible for managing key finance processes and ensuring operational excellence:

Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes

Oversee bank reconciliations, cash book postings, and payment runs

Lead month-end activities including reconciliations and ledger closures

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and audit requirements

Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners

The Successful Candidate

Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role with a non-profit organisation

Strong knowledge of transactional finance, month-end processes, and financial systems

Experience managing or supervising a finance team

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills

AAT qualified, part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA), or qualified by experience

What’s on offer?

£45,000- £50,000 per annum plus benefits

Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the London office.

37.5-hour working week
