Keynsham, Bristol £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) Full-time, Permanent

We’re recruiting an experienced Finance Manager for a growing business based in Keynsham. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, management reporting and the finance team.

You’ll work closely with senior management, providing accurate financial information and helping to strengthen processes, controls and commercial decision-making.

The role

Prepare monthly management accounts and P&L reports

Manage cashflow forecasting, budgets and financial reporting

Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations

Manage VAT returns, payroll and other financial compliance

Monitor working capital, debtor and creditor performance

Produce management information, KPIs and financial analysis

Maintain strong financial controls and accurate accounting records

Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting

Manage and develop the finance team

Support senior management with budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis

What we’re looking for

AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or qualified by experience

Previous experience managing or leading a finance function

Strong management accounts experience

Good knowledge of cashflow forecasting, VAT and payroll

Experience across purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control

Strong Excel skills

Experience using Xero

Commercially minded, organised and confident working independently

Previous team management experience
