Finance Manager

Finance Manager - Contract - Glasgow (hybrid) - £800-£1000pd (inside IR35)

My client requires 3x Finance Managers to join them in a finance transformation programme for an estimated 6 months. Based in Glasgow you will be required in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Working in a complex finance environment, you will be responsible for leading Record-to-Report accounting activities, taking ownership of defined close and reporting activities, and providing reliable hands-on BAU support during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end, half-year, and year-end close activities.

Review and sign off key financial outputs, including balance sheet reconciliations, reporting packs, and statutory accounts.

Ensure reconciliations, supporting documentation, and audit trails are completed and compliant with Group policies.

Oversee governance activities and adherence to accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.

Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, reconciliations, and audit requirements.

Experience managing month-end and year-end processes within a complex finance environment.

Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Continuous improvement mindset.
