We are partnering with a successful and growing organisation looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys balancing technical accounting responsibilities with business partnering and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger activities and month-end close processes

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial accounting records Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights

Prepare monthly and annual management reports

Support year-end audit processes and tax reporting requirements

Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets

Coordinate internal and external audit activities

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Partner with senior leadership to improve financial performance and operational efficiency

Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement projects

Evaluate financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies

Lead, coach and develop members of the finance team

Support training, mentoring and performance development activities

Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high-quality financial reporting

Candidate Profile

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Experience managing or mentoring finance team members

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
