Finance Manager £40,000 to £50,000 | Fully Remote | Dental Group

The Opportunity

We are working with a fast growing, multi entity Dental group to recruit a hands on Management Accountant / Finance Manager to support its continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finalist, part qualified accountant or an early stage Finance Manager looking to take ownership of a broad finance role within a growing SME environment.

Working across multiple entities, you will play a key role in managing the day to day finance function, producing accurate management accounts and supporting senior stakeholders with financial reporting and analysis. You will also have exposure to supporting junior finance colleagues based in India.

The role is fully remote, with travel to London required approximately once a month.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities, including profit and loss, balance sheets and reconciliations.

• Take ownership of month end processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Manage day to day transactional finance, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and payment runs.

• Support payroll processing and related financial reporting.

• Monitor cash flow, budgets and financial performance.

• Maintain accurate financial records and robust financial controls across the group.

• Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and responding to queries.

• Support and oversee junior finance colleagues based in India.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies as the business continues to grow.

• Assist with year end processes and other ad hoc financial projects.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA finalist, part qualified, or qualified by experience.

• Experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Finance Manager or early stage Finance Manager role.

• Strong practical experience preparing management accounts and managing month end.

• Experience working within an SME or growing business.

• Confident using Xero.

• Experience working across multiple entities or within a multi site organisation.

• Comfortable managing transactional finance and payroll.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Proactive, organised and hands on, with the ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

• Experience within healthcare, dental care or a healthcare group would be advantageous.
