Finance Manager Dudley | £50,000 | Office-Based

The Opportunity A high-growth, private equity-backed business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its expanding finance team based in Dudley. Following significant investment, the group has experienced rapid growth through a combination of organic expansion and acquisitions, creating an exciting opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to play a key role in the next stage of the journey.

This is a broad role offering exposure to financial reporting, cashflow management, acquisitions, systems improvements and commercial performance analysis within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

The Role Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the month-end close process across multiple group entities

Preparing and analysing financial performance reports for senior stakeholders

Leading weekly cashflow reporting and forecasting activities

Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the group finance function

Improving finance processes, controls and reporting accuracy across the group

Working closely with operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information

Supporting business improvement projects, including systems, automation and ERP initiatives

Assisting in the development of a robust financial control environment to support continued growth

About You We are looking to speak with candidates who are:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Newly qualified to around 3 years PQE

Experienced in month-end reporting and financial controls

Strong communicators who can build relationships across the business

Technically competent with UK accounting standards

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Strong Excel and finance systems users

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment

Previous exposure to multi-entity businesses, acquisitions or ERP implementation projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
