Fame Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established charity with UK and international operations, including subsidiaries in Israel, in the recruitment of a Finance Manager.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the finance function, supervising a small team while supporting the Finance Director across all aspects of financial management.

Supervise and support a finance team of two.
Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities across the Charity Group.
Oversee the day-to-day transactional finance function, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts across the Group.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting.
Prepare VAT returns, payroll journals and other statutory submissions.
Produce financial reports, analysis and commentary for the Finance Director.
Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained using Xero.
Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House and Charity Commission requirements.
Candidate Requirements
Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
Previous charity finance experience is essential.
Strong understanding of charity accounting principles, including restricted funds.
Previous experience supervising or mentoring a small finance team.
Essential experience using Xero.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
