As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and work closely alongside our Head of Finance. This varied role will provide the opportunity to work across multiple businesses, support their continued growth and contribute to the development of the wider finance function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play an important part in supporting the continued growth and development of the business.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a key role that combines hands on day-to -day finance responsibilities to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting and support the effective running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day accounting, reporting, VAT, cash flow, and financial controls across multiple businesses
Financial reporting, budgeting and supporting key strategic projects.
Processing monthly payroll and ensuring accurate PAYE reporting and HMRC payments
Reviewing and analysing revenue data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Proven ability to manage month-end close and liaise with external auditors and regulators
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax obligations, and internal governance standards
Key Skills
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a finance role, ideally at a senior level
Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused.
Experience improving finance processes within a commercial environment.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Advanced Excel and strong accounting systems experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to financial tasks.
