Your responsibilities as Finance Manager
Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
Produce monthly management accounts and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee payroll, supplier payments, invoicing, VAT, PAYE, CIS and Corporation Tax submissions
Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, annual audits and year-end reporting
Manage banking activities, invoice discounting, fixed assets, fleet accounting and financial reporting
Work alongside the Finance Director to strengthen financial controls and improve business processes
What we're looking for in a Finance Manager
Previous experience managing a finance team (between 2-5 staff) within a commercial business
ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification, part-qualified or qualified by experience considered
Strong technical accounting knowledge with advanced Excel skills
Experience using Sage 50 Cloud or similar accounting software
A construction background is highly desirable, along with CIS
Stable employment history together with a realistic commute of no more than one hour from Ealing
Previous construction industry experience would be advantageous, although applications from other sectors are welcomed.

Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
