Finance Manager

We are partnering with a well-established events business delivering high-quality experiences, to recruit a proactive Finance Manager to support with expansion.

This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, event finance, and operational support, making it well-suited to someone looking to develop their career in a dynamic environment.

You will contribute to the accuracy of financial information, support key processes such as month-end, and work closely with operational teams to ensure financial performance is effectively monitored.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition

Support month-end close and assist in the production of management accounts, including variance analysis

Manage event billing and monitor costs against budgets, liaising with operational teams

Oversee credit control, including monitoring receivables and supporting cash flow forecasting

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing process improvements

Maintain accurate financial records and support audit and compliance activities

Candidate Profile

Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or actively studying

Strong understanding of core accounting principles

Previous experience in a fast-paced or project-based environment is desirable

Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems

Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills

Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
