Description

Duties and tasks of the Finance Data Analyst

· Produce accurate and reliable robust datasets for submission of returns to external contacts

· Extra data and ensure data reconciles to control totals

· Analyse data and investigate anomalies and trends

· Produce various financial and statistical returns

· Ensure all capital equipment is recorded within the fixed asset register

· Identify and capitalise all equipment within the organisation and apply depreciation

· Reconcile fixed asset records with the general ledger

· Communicate with non financial staff and present data clearly

· Involved in projects and produce reports to senior management

· Liaise with internal and external audit

Profile

To be successful in the role you will

· Studying, AAT, CIMA, ACA/ ACCA or similar

· Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data (pivot tables, vlookups)

· Ability to analyse large volumes of data and produce reports
