Finance Business Partner

Job Title: Senior Finance & Contracts Manager

Salary: up to £42,500

Location: Hybrid – up to 80% from home

Job Role: Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association in the North West for the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner.

Duties

Review existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Work collaboratively with internal departments within the Rent and Service Charges remit to ensure customer charges are fair and deliver value for money.

Complete accounting reconciliations and month-end management accounts, ensuring balance sheet integrity and accurate income and expenditure reporting.

Undertake regular financial reviews and reforecasting in line with team responsibilities.

Meet statutory timescales when issuing customer budgets and annual accounts.

Supervise and coach team members, supporting the completion of core tasks and the development of new skills.

Maintain accurate financial expenditure records, using the finance system to meet audit and compliance requirements.

Support with the preparation of financial statements and year-end accounting processes.

Liaise with internal and external auditors in relation to appropriate areas of responsibility.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory environment, ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant requirements.
