Finance Business Partner

The Opportunity A leading professional services organisation is looking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with operational leaders and influencing business performance through insight, analysis, and strategic support.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and contribute to key business decisions across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Role As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with business leaders and operational teams to provide financial insight, challenge, and support across a broad range of commercial activities.

Key responsibilities include

Leading forecasting and planning activities for designated business areas.

Providing insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.

Supporting senior stakeholders in understanding key performance drivers and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Delivering high-quality management information and board-level reporting.

Partnering with operational leaders to improve profitability, efficiency, and resource utilisation.

Supporting strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.

Contributing to annual budgeting and longer-term planning processes.

Assisting with commercial proposals, pricing reviews, and growth opportunities where required.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems, and reporting.

Working collaboratively across the wider finance function to support business priorities and best practice.

About You We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience operating in a commercial finance orbusiness partnering environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate

Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.

Previous experience supporting senior operational or commercial leaders.

Excellent analytical and financial modelling capabilities.

The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial recommendations.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Experience working within a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
