Robert Half has partnered with a professional services business to recruit for a FinanceAnalyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This role is based in central london

Role Overview

You'll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate monthly financial close. Working on a hybrid basis, you'll manage financial data reporting, systems interrogation, and analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial information flows throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

Support the monthly financial close cycle: journals, management accounts, and balance sheet preparation using Excel, SAP, and reporting systems

Consolidate plans, budgets, and forecasts in a timely manner; provide financial analysis and interpretation to inform business performance

Monitor and chase monthly cash collection targets to meet forecast targets

Produce intercompany invoices and ad-hoc reports as required

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems performance

What We're Looking For

Graduate or AAT part-qualified (with ambition to pursue CIMA or ACCA)

Strong Excel skills with ability to collate data accurately and create clear outputs

SAP experience is essential

Sound financial and commercial acumen

Excellent planning, organisation, and interpersonal skills

Proactive problem-solver with a "can do" attitude

Ability to manage competing deadlines independently

What's on Offer

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000
