We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst - Optimisation to join our Finance team and play a key role in the delivery of our Business Optimisation Programme. Working closely with Commercial Excellence, Business Commercial teams and Finance colleagues across the business, you'll help shape and enhance commercial performance through robust reporting, insightful analysis and data-driven decision making

What You'll Be Doing
As the Finance Analyst - Optimisation , you'll lead the development of reporting and analytics that measure the success of key commercial optimisation initiatives and track performance against targeted returns
Developing and maintaining insightful reporting that links commercial KPIs and performance metrics to financial outcomes
Delivering meaningful analysis that helps improve understanding of commercial performance, strengthens controls and supports better decision making across national and regional teams
Defining, validating and governing commercial KPIs, ensuring the integrity of data sources and the accuracy of benefits tracking and reporting
Partnering with Commercial Excellence and Finance stakeholders to identify opportunities, risks and performance improvement initiatives
Supporting the development of forecasting activities and performance benchmarking across commercial initiatives
Creating self-service reporting and analytical tools using systems such as Excel, SAP/BW and SAP Analytics to drive revenue and margin enhancement
Promoting best practice, automation opportunities and continuous improvement within commercial reporting processes
What We Are Looking For
We're looking for an analytical and commercially aware finance professional who thrives on solving complex business challenges through data, insight and collaboration.
A strong finance background with analytical and accounting experience gained within a large, multi-site construction, manufacturing or similarly complex business environment
Part-qualified or qualified accountant status, or equivalent experience gained within a finance role
Excellent analytical and modelling skills with advanced capability in tools such as Excel, SAP/BW, SAP Analytics, Access/SQL and Anaplan
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
Experience delivering key management information and supporting business improvement initiatives through actionable insight
A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to manage priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
