Finance Analyst

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with an established and successful business in East Leeds to recruit a Finance Analyst into their finance function.

This is a newly created role offering excellent exposure across finance, operations and commercial teams. You'll play a key role in turning financial and operational data into meaningful insight, supporting senior stakeholders with informed decision-making and business performance. The role Key responsibilities will include:

Producing and analysing financial reporting, KPIs and management information

Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities

Translating large datasets into clear, commercially relevant insight

Developing reports and dashboards to support decision-making

Supporting asset performance and capex analysis

Partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders

Identifying opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes

Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects

The ideal candidate You'll ideally have:

Experience within an industry finance environment

Strong financial reporting, KPI and variance analysis experience

Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

A curious, commercially minded approach with excellent attention to detail

Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Experience within a service-led or asset-intensive business would be advantageous.
