Finance Analyst - Global Financial Institution

As a Finance Analyst within a leading international bank, you'll support financial reporting, reconciliations and control activities to ensure accurate accounting operations. Your role will focus on preparing reports, monitoring budgets, managing financial data and maintaining robust financial controls across the business.

Description

Prepare daily account reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.

Produce financial reports, supporting schedules and analysis.

Monitor budgets and track variances against approved expenditure.

Support daily accounting activities and month-end reporting processes.

Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies and procedures.

Assist the wider Finance team with reporting and operational queries.

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related matters.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have

2-4 years' experience within financial services, banking or a regulated environment.

A strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations and financial controls.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.

Experience preparing financial reports, variance analysis and budget monitoring.

Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.

A finance-related degree and/or studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £36,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.

Permanent role based in the City of London.
